Mobile Laboratories

GF Environmental Labs designs, engineers and manufactures advanced laboratories into any mobile platform chosen.  Germfree has been manufacturing innovative biocontainment equipment for five decades and we have more than 16 years of experience in making labs mobile by configuring vehicles for the proper integration of laboratory equipment.  GF Environmental Labs offers Vans, Trucks, Trailers, and Mobile Container Labs to accommodate any requirements. We also manufacture Mobile Labs that meet the rigorous demands of a Laboratory Airlift.  GF Environmental Labs’ Mobile Labs are deployed for a range of missions, applications and local conditions. These advanced units enhance existing laboratory operations by providing state-of-the- art facilities for geotechnical, geological, environmental assessment and monitoring and other custom analytical or field research applications.

Truck Laboratories

Built to any specifications, Truck Labs represent the ultimate mobile laboratory. Completely self-contained and self-sustaining, Truck Labs can go more places and stay there longer allowing for larger scale on-site operations with the added benefit of mobility.

Van Laboratories

Our Van Labs provide the ideal solution for quick deployment. This compact platform provides access to remote locations as well as easy maneuverability in urban areas. It accommodates a small team of personnel who must gain access to incident sites quickly.

Trailer Laboratories

Our Trailer Labs are a mobile laboratory solution that maximize available lab space. In addition to providing remote on-site response capabilities, they are used for surge capacity. Trailer labs allow the user to leave the lab in-place while using the towing vehicle for resupplying the lab or for other purposes.

Mobile Container Labs

Our Mobile Container Labs provide enhanced flexibility for international deployments. These units provide the transportability of a shipping container combined with the mobility of a trailer. These labs provide a quick-transport platform for readiness-response to natural disasters, industrial accidents or any other incident or event where an analytical laboratory needs to be deployed quickly.

Air/C-130 Transportable

Designed to go anywhere, anytime, our Air-Transportable Mobile Labs provide ultimate flexibility combined with maximum capacity. We offer both truck and container labs that can be loaded onto C-130 cargo planes or similar air transport and airlifted to remote locations.

GF Environmental Labs’ Mobile Laboratories provide comprehensive on-site safety and an efficient environment in which to work.

In response to the growing need to bring laboratory capabilities to the field for fast, on-site diagnostics and sustainable laboratory capabilities, Germfree, in partnership with the US Army, pioneered the design and deployment of mobile containment laboratories.  Originally built for defense missions, Mobile Laboratories increasingly support a diverse range of other applications including Public Health Laboratories, Environmental Agencies, All Hazard Receipt Facilities, Departments of Agriculture and Veterinary Health, First Responders, Law Enforcement and other Security Agencies. Germfree Mobile units are also used for CBRNe/NBC (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) sampling and analysis at high profile events such as International Summits, Inaugurations and the Olympics. Germfree Mobile Laboratories play a vital role in public health and national security by enabling a rapid response to natural and accidental outbreaks of disease and potential terrorist threats.

Now, GF Environmental Labs builds on these experiences to bring you mobile laboratories to serve the mining, construction, industrial, and environmental fields with facilities offering comprehensive laboratory capabilities.  They can be deployed anywhere in the world to support your operations or incident management. Our Mobile Labs can be moved easily and are rapidly deployable. When not deployed, the laboratory can be operated via landline connections and stationed at the main laboratory. This provides a platform for diagnostic training programs as well as laboratory surge capacity for the main lab.
